The garden, finally

We're late with the garden, but Spring was pretty late getting here anyway. We finally got to the local garden shop for our veggies. Janet got all the tomatoes planted. It's good to have an Italian wife.

The Hello Kitty tape on the stakes is a nice touch.

You know how husbands forget anniversaries?

I'm getting ahead of the curve. In a week, Janet Golden and I will have been married for 21 years. We got married in beautiful Milford, but it took another six years before we actually moved to the "small city with a big heart."

I love this photo on her campaign page from when she ran for reelection as Alderman for the 2nd District last year. That ocean-to-ocean smile is what captured my heart to begin with.
