Dance Gypsy said...

I enjoyed Janet's discussion yesterday regarding dance. I would like to let listeners know that there is a wide variety of ethnic dance going on in Connecticut. My particular favorite is Israeli Folkdance that takes place most Thursdays at the JCC in Woodbridge. New dances are taught each week to world music popular in Israel. Some of the songs have a Latin or hip hop influence. The dances are done in circles, lines or as partner dances similar to salsa. People who are interested should contact Yossi at hilulimusa@gmail.com
