The trio is comprised of Jake (Drumlovin), Jason (Basslovin) and Jeff (Axlovin).

Jeff is still in middle school!!!

These shredders from Hartford, Connecticut, gained notoriety after a fan posted a YouTube video of them performing Phish's "You Enjoy Myself" on the Phish Phantasy Tour message boards.

Check out the video for "You Enjoy Myself" below, and click here to listen to a full live-set recording from one of their gigs in the Hartford area.

The plague of the jam band scene

This video is from the Nassau Coliseum lot last night. You can hear the tanks hissing in the background. Look at all the balloons on the ground. Nitrous oxide, a.k.a. hippie crack, is a plague on the scene. It was out of control at the Klein in Bridgeort when the Disco Biscuits played there, and apparently Nassau had the worst gas scene of the Dead 2009 tour.

The nitrous dealers are organized thugs, and they must be stopped.

Pogrom in Bolivia

Bolivia's government is targeting Jews. This comes after President Evo Morales accused the US of backing an assasination attempt.

Bolivian police forces raided a Chabad center in the northeastern town of Rurrenabaque a number of times in recent days, ordered its closure and arrested a number of Israeli tourists who were staying there.

Rabbi Aharon Fraiman, who heads the center, told Ynet the police refused to give him a reason for the raid, but rumors throughout the town have linked the police activity to an assassination attempt on the Bolivian president last week.

On Wednesday, after the center temporarily resumed activity, Fraiman, who was almost arrested himself, said this was nothing more than a local dispute: "An anti-Semitic restaurateur who thinks we are hurting his livelihood is doing everything to get us out of here," the rabbi said.
Bolivia's communist leader is claiming that the US Embassy in La Paz was behind an alleged assassination plot uncovered last week. Morales was to have delivered a speech in New York this week, but canceled at the last minute, claiming illness. New York's leftist radio station WBAI was to have carried the speech.

Interview with The Barber

Sunday, April 12th, 1:30 p.m.

I'll be interviewing Jon Gutwillig of the Disco Biscuits.

Uniting elements of electronic dance music with more traditional forms of American rock, the Disco Biscuits have long established themselves as one of the most exciting - and influential - touring bands in the country. In the late 90s, the band pioneered a unique style of music, often referred to as "trance-fusion," that distinguished them from their peers, while heavily influencing an entire generation of younger "livetronica" acts.

The Disco Biscuits will be playing The Klein in Bridgeport on April 19th.

UPDATE: For whatever reason, the interview didn't happen. If I can reschedule it I'll post a note.

A Message to the Rich

Or, the pathology of generation take.

Bill Whittle
makes a lot of sense here.
You are not welcome in America any more. Take your wealth and prosperity and inventiveness and hard work and vision and insight and bold risk-taking and joy in seeing growth and wealth creation and just go away – right now, before it’s too late. Because if you stay, Joel Berg and Barack Obama and Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank and Chris Dodd will continue to come after you for more and more and more and they will not ever stop – not ever – until you are forced to flee.
Read it all.

WBAI "Easter Coup" BWAHAHAHAHA!

The lunatic children who have been running WBAI for the past few years have finally had their playtime stopped by adult intervention.

> SPRING COUP AT WBAI - PACIFICA ORDERS CHANGE OF LOCKS AT WBAI TRANSMITTER
> Email the Pacifica National Board to Protest!
>
> The following was circulated by WBAI's General Manager, Tony Riddle, late
> last night, to the WBAI staff and the Pacifica National Board and its Chair,
> Grace Aaron (who is based in Los Angeles)...The opening sentence of Mr. Riddle's email is: "It has been brought to my
> attention that you have issued an order today to change the locks on the WBAI
> transmitter room in the Empire State Building tomorrow." We are urgently
> attempting to learn more about the situation.
>
> This is extremely serious -- it allows the new national controllers of Pacifica
> to directly program the station from any location at any time...
>
> ...We must fight back! Send an email to the Pacifica National Board at
> pnb@pacifica.org -- which reaches each board member individually, including

It's too late for Bernard White and the Justice & Unity Campaign. The dysfunctional lunatics are being shoved aside by the functionally retarded lunatics of the Pacifica National Board.

EFF Wonders: Did Obama Violate Copyright Law With iPod Gift?

The Electronic Frontier Foundation ponders the copyright implications of Obama's gift to Queen Elizabeth II.

President Obama reportedly gave an iPod, loaded with 40 show tunes, to England's Queen Elizabeth II as a gift. Did he violate the law when he did so?

You know your copyright laws are broken when there is no easy answer to this question.

Our copyright laws are hopelessly tangled. As the EFF put it, "none of us should want a world where even our leaders--much less the rest of us--can't figure out how copyright law operates in their daily lives."
